On behalf of the Secretariat, I am honoured to welcome you to Maastricht for the 18th conference of EuroMUN 2026.

As I have the honour to be the Secretary General of EuroMUN 2026, I truly hope that I will witness the magic at the core of any Model United Nations: delegate passionately debating over complex international affairs and yet, enthusiastically coming together and forging long-lasting relationships during coffee/ lunch breaks with likeminded people.

I truly believe that Maastricht’s unique atmosphere during springtime will promote peace, cooperation and diplomacy among all of you.

The conference theme ‘Responsibility for the future, the power of dialogue’ could not be more relevant now. We are the future, we need to be able to design sustainable solutions and we are where changes begin. I am more than confident that with the help of our chairs, you will engage in enriching committee debates that will lead to innovative resolutions.
